do you guys wash your clothes in the washer machine with hot or cold water and what is the pros and cons of it? should i was my clothes with cold water to prevent shrinking?Is it better to wash clothes hot or cold?
Cold is better on your budget since it uses less energy and it more gentle on fabric. It even does a better job in getting stains out in most circumstances.
Hot uses more energy and is harsh and can shrink 100% cotton.
Both are okay to use; I don't recommend someone using cold/cold but perhaps warm/cold.
Hot/cold is to be used in extreme circumstances; for example, when you need to sterilize a garment or fabric (cloth diapers for example).
